About us

London Business Academy - LBA

A forum for Chief Executives in tech companies to exchange ideas and collaborate to grow their forward-looking, global organisations. We aim to lead business thinking in areas such as ethics, market integrity, sustainability and leadership excellence. We believe that by empowering and enabling executives we contribute to their organisations and, ultimately, impact the economy and benefit society. Good stewardship and high ethical standards are necessary for trust and confidence to be present and secured.

Our platform is open to Chief Executives and Boards in tech who are looking to advance their leadership skills and gain a better understanding of the challenges facing modern organisations. It will also enable them to develop a network of other leaders who share similar interests, so that they can collaborate on projects and initiatives that will bring value to their organisations.

our mission & vision

To empower executives to exert a visible leadership over their organisations and to lead the industry forward.

lba: why it matters

It is estimated that scale ups contributed £1 trillion to the UK economy in 2018 - 50% of the total contribution from UK SMEs - and are 54% more productive than their peers.

Since they operate across all sectors and geographies, they benefit the entire economy and play an important role in local employment.

From a scaleup to a high-growth technology leader, we're on a mission to assist leaders to emerge from challenges they are facing and execute effectively through partnerships, tools, events and development.

London Business Academy (LBA) was founded in 2015, initially as a daughter brand of Open Solutions Global, and aimed at supporting international executives operating in the UK under the premise that businesses are more effective when their leaders can communicate across cultures, collaborate, and develop, focused on their long-term goals.

In the subsequent years, LBA has partnered with NatWest to offer seminars, talks, and consulting services to more than 100 London-based SMEs, and short programmes for overseas C-level delegates visiting the UK.

At LBA, we have always believed that by empowering and enabling executives, we contribute to their organisations and, thereby, benefit society.

As we relaunch the Academy, our vision is to provide Chief Executives and boards of tech companies with a platform to contribute ideas and collaborate, to grow and develop world-class, forward-looking global organisations, as well as to advance thought leadership in areas such as ethics, market integrity, sustainability, and leadership excellence.

Innovative ideas, a fresh perspective, experience-based solutions, specialised expertise, and the latest knowledge are the ingredients that propel the business forward.

Our exclusive membership is open to CxOs and Board of Director members and aims to impact their organisations, teams and the industry as a whole.
